Photo Library Access

EditorPro requires access to your photo library to provide video editing functionality. This access is used exclusively for:

• Importing videos - When you choose to import a video for editing
• Saving edited videos - When you export and save your finished projects
• Generating previews - To display thumbnails and waveforms in the editing interface

Important:

• We only access photos/videos when you explicitly select them
• We never scan, analyze, or access your library without your action
• No photos or videos are uploaded to any server
• You can revoke this permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Photos

Local Data Storage

EditorPro stores the following data locally on your device:

• Video Projects - Your editing projects and timeline configurations
• Cache Files - Temporary thumbnails and waveforms for performance
• App Preferences - Your settings and preferences (stored in iOS UserDefaults)

All data remains exclusively on your device. Nothing is synchronized to the cloud or transmitted to external servers.

Third-Party Services

Analytics Provider

EditorPro uses PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to collect anonymous usage data. PostHog helps us:

• Understand which features are most used
• Identify and fix bugs and crashes
• Improve app performance
• Make data-driven decisions about new features

Your videos never leave your device. Analytics data is queued locally and transmitted when you have an internet connection.

Children's Privacy

EditorPro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. The anonymous analytics data we collect cannot identify users and is safe for all ages. Parents and guardians can review the app's permissions in iOS Settings.

In compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13.

Data Security

Your data security is ensured through our architecture:

• All video processing happens locally on your device
• No data transmission means no risk of interception
• Your videos are protected by iOS's security model
• Only you have access to your projects and edits

We recommend keeping your device secure with a passcode and ensuring iOS is up to date.

Your Rights and Controls

You have complete control over your data:

• Access Control - Manage photo library permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy → Photos
• Data Deletion - Delete all app data by deleting EditorPro from your device
• Cache Management - Clear cache files through the app's settings (if available)
• Export Freedom - Your edited videos are saved to your photo library and can be moved/deleted as you wish

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
